Aquarius

Latin for water-bearer, the constellation comes after Capricorn and before Pisces.  This is a air sign and when the moon enters this constellation it is a flower day on the Biodynamic calendar.  Aquarius flower days are generally very good days to have wine.

According to ancient astrologers, each astrological sign influenced a specific part of the human body.  Aquarius influenced the legs.

According to the Old Farmer’s Almanac, when the moon is in Aquarius it is a favorable time to control insect pests, plow, and weed.

In Greek mythology, Ganymede was the most attractive of mortals.  Zeus disguised himself as an eagle and abducted him, to serve as cup-bearer for the gods.  Zeus later put Ganymede in the heavens as the constellation Aquarius.
